How to Get Your Discount
Step 1 — Create an account
Your discount is tied to your TeamZ account, so you'll only need to verify once. After that, it applies to every order you place while signed in.
Step 2 — Verify
Choose whichever option is easier for you.
Option A — Verify with your work email (fastest — no documents needed)
If you have a work email address from your service, department, or agency, this is all we need.
Send a blank email from your work address to service@teamz.ca, and include the email address you used to create your TeamZ account.
That's it. No ID, no photos, nothing sensitive.

No work email? Send us a photo or scan of one of the following.

⚠️ Before You Send a Document — Please Black Out Your Personal Details
We don't want your personal information, and we don't need it.
Before sending, please black out or cover:
- Your service number, regimental number, or badge number
- Your Social Insurance Number
- Your date of birth
- Any barcode, QR code, or magnetic stripe
All we need to see is your name, your photo, the issuing organization, and the expiry date. A phone photo with your thumb over the sensitive fields is completely fine.
If you send us something without redacting it, we'll delete it and ask you to resend.
Step 3 — Start shopping
We review submissions within 1 business day. Once you're approved, we'll email you your discount code and add the benefit to your account.
Sign in when you shop, and the discount will be there. You won't need to verify again.
How We Handle Your Information
We take this seriously, and we keep it simple:
- We delete your document as soon as we've reviewed it. It's removed from our inbox and our systems, usually within minutes. We don't archive it, back it up, or store it in the cloud.
- We record the outcome, not the evidence. All that stays on your account is a note that you were verified and the date.
- We never share your information with anyone. No third parties, no data brokers, no marketing lists.
- We don't use it for anything else. It's used to confirm your eligibility, and for nothing more.

Program Terms
- The discount applies to your account and is not transferable.
- One verification per person. Please don't share your code — codes are tied to a verified account and won't work for anyone else.
- The discount cannot be combined with other promotional codes or offers.
- Some items may be excluded, including sale items, gift cards, and select brands. Exclusions are noted on the product page.
- We may update or end this program at any time. Discounts already applied to placed orders won't be affected.
Questions
Do I have to verify every time I order?
No. Verification is one-time. Sign in to your account and the discount applies automatically.
I'm a Reservist / I'm retired / I'm a volunteer firefighter. Do I qualify?
Yes to all three. Reserve service (Class A, B, or C), retired and Veteran status, and volunteer fire service are all covered.
Can my spouse use it?
Family members of serving CAF personnel are eligible and can verify with their own account.
I don't have a work email and I'm not comfortable sending ID. Any other options?
Email us at service@teamz.ca and we'll work something out. We'd rather find a way than turn you away.
How long does approval take?
Usually within 1 business day. If you haven't heard from us after that, check your spam folder, then get in touch.
My discount code isn't working.
Make sure you're signed in to the account you verified with, and that no other promo code is applied to your cart. Still stuck? Email us and we'll sort it out.
